Handing Over of Computers to Schools

The Chief Executive of the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority today 19th April, 2004, handed six computers to Bereng High School Mafeteng and St. Charles High School at a ceremony held at LHDA offices this morning.
The computers were donated to the two schools as part of LHDA’s responsibility as a good corporate citizen in an effort to promote computer literacy at schools around the country.
The two schools are among the first beneficiaries and it is hoped that as the activities of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project wind down, more computers will be donated to other schools.
The handouts are made on a first come first serve basis. Present at the occasion were Senior LHDA Management and members of the Media.
