Katse Dam is Spilling

The Lake level as at 12:00 PM 02/11/2006 is 2053.75 masl and that means the reservoir is 101.29% full. The dam is spilling; The discharge is 211.00 Cumecs.

The landslide along the NAR road at Ha Lejone near the woolshed on the road to Maseru is still not cleared. The land slide has rendered the road impassable, until further notice. Attempts will be made to clear the blockage as soon as possible.  

The Lake level as at 15:00 PM 02/11/2006 is 2054.20 masl and that means the reservoir is 103.09% full. The discharge is 425.00 Cumecs.

The Lake level as at 17:15 PM 02/11/2006 is 2054.97 masl and that means the reservoir is 104.77% full. The discharge is 900.00 Cumecs. This is the record lake level since existence of Katse Dam.

The Lake level as at 08:00 PM 03/11/2006 is 2056.07 masl and that means the reservoir is 107.19% full. The discharge is 1,681.45 Cumecs. This is the record lake level since existence of Katse Dam.  

The Lake level as at 08:00 AM 08/11/2006 is 2052.69 masl and that means the reservoir is 99.27% full. The stored volume is 1935.796 mil cubic meters. The dam has stopped spilling.
