Illustrative LHDA Board Resolution to establish the Lesotho Biodiversity Trust

IN THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF LESOTHO HIGHLANDS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ON THE DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2002

IT WAS RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

1. That a Trust called the Lesotho Biodiversity Trust should be set up for the purpose of undertaking conservation, research and monitoring of the Maloti Minnow (Pseudobarbus quathlambae) in Lesotho. The Trust would have as its further objectives the training of biodiversity scientists for the benefit of this and other threatened species in Lesotho, as well as making interventions for endangered plants and animals as necessary in the future.

2. That RAMOSEHLANA MAPETLA be authorised to represent the authority as the Donor.

3. That the following persons be appointed as Trustees for the said Trust.
